The original entrance to this lovely home made for a convoluted route to the kitchen, which had a rear utility room blocking access to the garden. I proposed a single-storey rear extension with a terrace connecting the house and garden and full-width sliding doors to maximise the views. Roof lights bring in more natural light and a remodelled entrance hall now connects better with the rest of the house.
