At just 3 metres wide and 2.4 metres deep, this project was a prototype built by my own hands. It’s a sunny garden room that’s a fabulous addition to my Victorian home.
I built the extension entirely from timber and designed the glazed doors to maximise the views.
The garden room opens onto a veranda, which offers shade, as well as being a comfortable place to unwind.
The veranda not only keeps the light from reflecting onto the glass but it makes the view out towards the garden feel like the doors are actually open, giving a definite sense of bringing the outside in, all year round!
