My clients realised their unassuming bungalow had amazing potential because of its wonderful setting, nestling right in the heart of the South Downs National Park.

I was thrilled to help them make the most of this breath-taking location by totally rejigging the layout to include a large open-plan kitchen/family room, plus a stylish veranda and four bedrooms that all now face the view over the garden and towards the rolling hills.

The house has been clad in my favourite timber – Western Red Cedar – and looks better as every season passes.

Using my extensive experience, I’ve been successful in obtaining planning permission in this sensitive area, for not only this ‘bungalow to house’ conversion but also another project in the South Downs National Park.
