Carl took our extension wish list for a flexible social space incorporating cooking, dining and living, a space that would have high ceilings and be light and bright (a challenge when north facing). He took this wish list and created the reality of a really beautiful, contemporary room, somewhere where we can spend time with groups of friends and family, a room that we both adore.

We have worked with Carl for a few years now, and find his wealth of knowledge is impressive, he has a good eye for detail, listens to my clients, and will always endeavour to solve any unforeseen problems that occur when building work starts.

We purchased a problematical and tired house in a fantastic location after several years exploring the Portsmouth and Southsea area. We initially had a few ideas to improve the property which would have ended up being just that – an improvement. Carl was able to present a vision which enabled us to transform the property into a dream house with wonderful views from rooms, balconies and oriel windows gaining many plaudits for an improved street scene in a conservation area.
